Gary, this is such a POWERFUL body of work and your poetic narrative about your process is generous and illuminating. I am blown away. Question: Your paintings all have a strong structural component- through large color zones, and through the objects depicted- How consciously do you engage with the grid?
Carol, I don’t think there’s any real difference btwn .jpg and .jpeg. This is coming from a trusted source so there shouldn’t be a problem.
Gorgeous work, Gary! Such a extraordinary use of color and sense of light in these. Question: has your use of digital color studies affected your work and if so how?
